This article is full of extensive references to Theosophy, when the explicit purpose of the article is to quote sources referring to Buddhism. The Theosophy article is devoid of references to Benjamin Creme, who, whether people like it or not, is a notable subject matter expert. This is going with the general consensus that the topic "Theosophy" is a stand-in for western esotericism. I will proceed with edits to remove Theosophy quotes and merge them with the Maitreya (Theosophy) article if no one objects. Mike.97301 (talk) 10:38, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
